How much is an hourly chauffeur in Los Angeles?
Continental's hourly chauffeur service is $138 per hour all-in, with a 3-hour minimum, so a 3-hour booking is $414. That figure already includes the 20% gratuity, service and operational fee, the same way every price on this site is quoted. The base rate underneath it is $115 per hour. It covers the chauffeur, a Cadillac Escalade ESV seating up to six, wait time between stops, and unlimited stops within your booked hours. Your rate is locked in when you book, so the rate you book is the rate you pay.
What is the minimum booking for hourly car service?
3 hours. Most bookings run longer: a half day is typically four to five hours, and a full day eight to ten. Every booked hour bills at the same rate, so a five-hour half day is $690 all-in and a ten-hour full day is $1,380 all-in, gratuity included in both. Hours run from your first pickup anywhere in Greater Los Angeles, not from our garage, and if the day runs long the extra time is added to the bill rather than re-quoted.
Does the driver stay with me the whole time?
Yes. That is the point of booking hourly rather than point-to-point. The chauffeur and vehicle are yours for the full reservation. They wait while you are in a meeting, keep your bags safe while you shop, and take you wherever you decide to go next. There is no re-booking and no waiting for a new car between stops.
Can I book a chauffeur for several days in a row?
Yes, and it is arranged a little differently. Consecutive days are booked as a single multi-day program, with one Escalade and one named chauffeur reserved for your dates and ready at your hotel each morning. Arrival and departure airport transfers are included, and the whole stay is quoted as a program rather than by the hour.
What areas does hourly service cover?
All of Greater Los Angeles, including Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, Malibu, West Hollywood, Downtown LA, Pasadena, Calabasas and Studio City, plus day trips to Santa Barbara, Ojai, Temecula and Palm Springs. Mileage within your booked hours is not charged separately.
