Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 23, 2026

Continental Luxury Car Service (“Continental,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the website at ridecontinental.com and provides luxury chauffeured transportation services in Greater Los Angeles. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have — including specific rights for California residents under the CCPA and CPRA.

1. Information we collect

We collect information that you provide directly and information gathered automatically when you interact with our site and services.

Information you give us

  • Booking details: name, phone number, email address, pickup and drop-off addresses, passenger count, vehicle preference, flight number, and any special instructions.
  • Payment information: card details are collected and processed directly by Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store full card numbers on our servers. We retain limited transaction data (last 4 digits, receipt ID, amount, date) for accounting and customer support.
  • Communications: messages you send us by phone, text, email, WhatsApp, or through forms on the site.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and usage data: browser type, operating system, pages visited, referring URL, approximate geographic location derived from IP address, and timestamps.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: we use cookies and localStorage to measure site performance, remember your preferences, and (with your consent) personalize advertising. See Section 5 for details.

2. How we use your information

  • To schedule, dispatch, and fulfill your ride, including sharing pickup details with your assigned chauffeur.
  • To process payments, issue receipts, and handle refunds or adjustments.
  • To send booking confirmations, trip updates, and receipts by email or SMS.
  • To communicate with you about support questions, changes to your reservation, or feedback requests after your ride.
  • To improve the site, our service quality, and our internal operations.
  • To detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, security incidents, or misuse.
  • To comply with legal obligations, respond to lawful requests, and enforce our terms.
  • With your consent, to measure marketing performance and deliver relevant advertising.

3. Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate the business, and only as needed for them to perform their function:

  • Chauffeurs and dispatch staff — pickup details necessary to perform the ride.
  • Stripe — payment processing (their privacy policy: stripe.com/privacy).
  • Supabase — secure database hosting for booking records (supabase.com/privacy).
  • Google Maps — address autocomplete and route calculation (policies.google.com/privacy).
  • Google Analytics & Google Ads — measurement and advertising, only when you have granted consent via our cookie banner.
  • Email and SMS providers — to deliver confirmations, updates, and receipts.
  • WhatsApp / Meta — only if you choose to message us via WhatsApp, your conversation is governed by Meta's privacy policy.
  • Legal and safety — we may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Continental, our customers, or the public.

4. How long we keep your information

We retain booking and transaction records as long as needed to provide our services, comply with tax and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You can request deletion of your personal information at any time — see Section 6.

5. Cookies, tracking, and Google Consent Mode v2

When you first visit our site, a banner asks whether you consent to analytics and advertising cookies. Essential cookies (needed to keep your booking session working and protect against abuse) are always active.

We use Google Consent Mode v2. By default, analytics and ads storage are denied — no tracking, remarketing, or personalization cookies fire — until you make a choice:

  • Accept All: grants permission for analytics, ad measurement, ad personalization, and related storage.
  • Decline: leaves analytics and ads denied. Google may still receive limited, cookieless signals for conversion modeling, but your browser is not tagged for remarketing.

Your choice is stored in your browser's localStorage. You can change it any time by clicking Cookie Settings at the bottom of any page.

6. Your California privacy rights (CCPA / CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Right to know — what personal information we have collected, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties we've shared it with.
  • Right to delete — request deletion of the personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain legal exceptions (e.g. completed transaction records we must retain for tax purposes).
  • Right to correct — request that we correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Right to opt out — opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell personal information. Where advertising cookies qualify as “sharing” under CPRA, clicking Decline on our cookie banner (or Cookie Settings) exercises this right.
  • Right to limit use of sensitive personal information — to the extent we collect any.
  • Right to non-discrimination — we will not deny service, charge different prices, or provide a different level of service because you exercised your rights.

To exercise any of these rights, email info@ridecontinental.com or call (213) 373-7040. We will verify your identity before fulfilling the request and respond within the timeframe required by law (generally 45 days, extendable by another 45 days when necessary).

7. Data security

We use commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS), secure database hosting, access controls, and third-party payment processing through PCI-compliant providers. No internet transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's privacy

Our service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. International users

Our services are operated from the United States. If you access the site from outside the U.S., be aware that your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top. For material changes, we will provide a more prominent notice (such as a site banner or email).
