How much is a car service from Van Nuys Airport?
Continental's flat rates from Van Nuys Airport, all-in: Studio City $154, Bel Air $159, West Hollywood $167, Calabasas $171, Beverly Hills $171, Santa Monica $176. For the Valley, Van Nuys is much closer than LAX. Studio City is 9 miles from Van Nuys compared with 26 miles from LAX, so the rates are lower too.
Can you do ramp-side pickup at VNY FBOs?
Yes. We coordinate with your FBO, such as Signature, Castle & Cooke, Jet Aviation or Clay Lacy, for ramp-side access, so your chauffeur is waiting at the aircraft when you step off. This is standard practice for private aviation. Just tell us your FBO when you book.
Do you handle TSA-cleared private departures from VNY?
Yes. For private departures, we drop you at your FBO's curb, and at most Van Nuys FBOs the walk from car to jet is about 5 minutes. There is no TSA line, because it is private aviation.
Is Van Nuys faster than LAX for private flights?
