Mostly the duration — "private driver" implies a multi-day or full-day arrangement where the same person drives you the entire stretch. Continental offers both: single-trip flat-rate transfers AND multi-day private-driver retainers where one chauffeur is assigned to you the whole trip.
How much is a private driver in LA per day?
Daily retainer pricing depends on hours + complexity. Standard 8-hour day with a Cadillac Escalade ESV runs around $1,000-$1,300 all-in (including gratuity). Longer days (12 hours, late-night returns) are priced individually. Email info@ridecontinental.com for a quote.
Can I have the same driver every day on a multi-day trip?
Yes — that's the point of the retainer. Same chauffeur each day. They learn your preferences (preferred routes, music off/on, coffee order, A/C temperature), and your trip flows without re-explaining.

Yes — weekly and monthly retainer arrangements are available for executives who use Continental as their full-time LA driver. Pricing is structured for predictability (one monthly invoice, consolidated for accounting).
