How much is a car service to Malibu?
Continental's flat rates to Malibu start at $135 from Beverly Hills, $145 from Santa Monica, and $185 from LAX. From Downtown LA the run is $215. Hourly bookings (recommended for Malibu — winding PCH adds time, and most Malibu trips chain to Soho House, Nobu, the Cross Creek shops, and beach club lunches) are $135/hr with a 3-hour minimum.
Do you pick up at Soho House Malibu and Nobu?
Yes. Soho House Malibu uses a private gated entry off PCH — we coordinate with the front gate and stage in the member lot. Nobu Malibu drop-offs go to the valet circle on the south side; we work with the valet team for the smoothest pickup window. Other Malibu standards we run daily: the Carbon Beach hotels, Cross Creek shops, Pepperdine, Paradise Cove, and private residences in Point Dume + Latigo Canyon.
How long does a car ride from LAX to Malibu take?
Off-peak: 45-55 minutes. Friday afternoon or summer-weekend Sunday returns: 75-95 minutes (PCH bottlenecks at the Sunset bend and the Topanga curve). We watch live traffic and recommend a departure time when you book — and if you're flying in, your chauffeur tracks your flight, so a delayed inbound doesn't cost you extra.
Can you drive me up PCH to Santa Barbara or wine country?
Absolutely — long-distance leisure drives are a core hourly use case. Common itineraries: LA → Santa Barbara wineries (Funk Zone or Santa Ynez), LA → Ojai for a weekend, LA → Carpinteria for a property scout. Out-of-county work is hourly with a per-day pre-quote.
