For airport rides, yes; they are what we do most. Continental tracks your flight, adjusts your pickup for delays at no charge, and meets you at the curb or inside the terminal with a name sign (meet & greet is an add-on), all at a flat rate. Lyft Lux has no flight tracking and its prices rise during peak airport demand, so the price can be higher when you land than when you checked.
Is Lyft Lux cheaper than a car service?
For a short city ride with no Prime Time surge, Lyft Lux is often cheaper. But once you add Prime Time, tolls and airport fees, a Lyft Lux airport ride can come close to Continental's flat rate, and on busy nights it can cost more. Continental's price is locked when you book and does not change after that.
Can I schedule a Lyft Lux in advance like a car service?
Lyft offers limited scheduled rides, but it still assigns whichever driver is available at pickup time and does not guarantee the vehicle or wait for flight delays. Continental is a true reservation, with the same Escalade standard and the same flat rate, bookable up to a year ahead.
Does Lyft Lux guarantee a luxury SUV?
No. Lyft Lux and Lux Black are higher-end tiers, but you cannot request a specific vehicle; you get whichever qualifying car the accepting driver owns.
