Continental · Flat-rate transfer
Beverly Hills → Van Nuys Airport.
A private departure is the one trip where being early is free, so the pickup is built around your wheels-up time and the Sepulveda Pass instead of a generic airport buffer. Figure 27 minutes over the hill on a good morning, $139 all-in in a private Cadillac Escalade ESV. Van Nuys has gates on three sides of the field, so the booking takes your departure gate along with your address and the car goes straight to it.

Pickup
This drive ends at an aircraft rather than a terminal, so the pickup works backwards from your handler's window, and your chauffeur tells you which departure time he is working to when he confirms. We collect anywhere in Beverly Hills, 90210, 90211 and 90212 alike, and in the flats he pulls up at the address. Above Sunset he comes in past the gate so cases and golf bags load off the driveway and not off the street. At a Wilshire or Brighton Way office he keeps the car in the loading zone instead of handing it to valet, because a car buried in a garage is ten minutes you do not have when a crew moves your slot forward.
Drop-off
We drop at your FBO's lobby door, or at the aircraft when the handler clears the vehicle onto the ramp. There is no departures level and no security line to budget for, so the drop is simply the car stopping and the bags coming out. If your crew wants the car held until the aircraft is actually ready, tell us at booking and we will put that held time in the quote so the car stays with you.
Why Continental for this route
Private slots move, and usually in the direction nobody plans for. A crew gets the aircraft ready early and the pickup needs to be twenty minutes sooner, or the Sepulveda Pass turns 27 minutes into an hour and the car needed to have left before anyone noticed. We hold a chauffeur for this job from the moment it is booked, so he is sitting in the 90210 with the engine off rather than being dispatched when your call comes. Beverly Glen and Coldwater exist for exactly the mornings when the 405 does not work, and that decision gets made in the car rather than at the house.
Beverly Hills to Van Nuys Airport, common questions
How much is a car from Beverly Hills to Van Nuys Airport?
$139 for the Cadillac Escalade ESV and chauffeur, up to six passengers and four large bags. It is locked when you book and never re-priced, and your pickup address inside Beverly Hills does not change it. The return into Van Nuys is quoted on its own distance, and we will book both legs together if you want the same car waiting.
How long is the drive from Beverly Hills to Van Nuys Airport?
22-32 min off-peak, and 40-60 min when the 405 northbound through the Sepulveda Pass is heavy, mostly weekday afternoons and evenings. Northbound in the morning is the lighter direction, which is why an early departure out of Beverly Hills runs on time. When the pass is at a standstill your chauffeur takes Beverly Glen or Coldwater instead.
When should the car pick me up for a private departure?
Most crews want you at the aircraft shortly before wheels-up rather than hours ahead, so the drive and the pass are the real variables. Tell us the slot and we will set a pickup time against the day's traffic, with a cushion on an afternoon departure and less on a 7am one. If the crew moves the slot, message us and we will move the pickup.
Can you take a larger group or a lot of luggage?
One Escalade ESV carries six passengers with four large bags, and more luggage than that with the third row folded for a smaller party. For eight or ten people flying out together we run a second Escalade on the same timing rather than a different class of vehicle. Say so at booking so both cars are held for you.
How far ahead should I book?
A day ahead is plenty for most departures, and we take same-day bookings when the car is free. A booking made within a few hours of pickup, or one in the small hours, can carry a short-notice or late-night fee, which appears in your quote before you confirm. There is no surge pricing, so a busy Friday does not change the route price.
